Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child, a boy who was born at 5:26 in London on May 6th 2019 at the residence of the couple Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and Prince Harry gave his first words after becoming a father for the first time. The baby weighs 3.260 kg.
As it was known, Meghan decided not to pose for the media after the birth, as the tradition of the royals marks it. However, Harry took a few minutes to share with the press his first words after becoming a father for the first time.
“Mom and baby are doing incredibly well, it’s been the most amazing experience I can imagine, I cannot imagine how all woman does what she does, what they do is beyond understanding, but we’re both absolutely delighted and very grateful for all the love and support of all those out there, it was amazing, we just wanted to share this with everyone” Harry said with evident emotion.
The couple have been charged with keeping secrecy about the name of the firstborn, however, Prince Harry touched on the subject.
“We’re still thinking about the names, the baby was late, so we had a little more time to think about it.”
“We will see you in two days as planned as a family to share with you, and you can also see the baby, I have not been in many births, this is definitely my first birth, but it was incredible and absolutely incredible.”
“I’m so incredibly proud of my wife and as all parents would say, my baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m already in the moon.”
As it was revealed, Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, traveled to London to accompany her daughter in the birth of her first baby, and Harry confirmed that she was there at the time of delivery. “She is very happy about the arrival of her first grandchild,” he added.
